As I was pondering who has been exceptionally brilliant this week in the BritMums community, I started thinking about all of the Bloggers of the Week we've had. Then I thought I would go through and write them all down (I do like a good list). Do you know that we have had 30 Bloggers of the Week so far? We've missed the odd week here and there but are nearing the year anniversary of the FIRST BritMums Blogger of the Week. Hasn't it been a good year as well?

BritMums has come such a very long way with our shiny new network, we've seen the birth of a new glorious conference, BritMums Live! and are looking forward to things like the Brilliance in Blogging Awards and our up and coming Big Sis Mentoring Programme. 2011 has been phenominal...imagine what 2012 will hold!

BritMums Blogger of the Week

Ahhh, the cool winds of autumn have begun to blow, evening is creeping in earlier and earlier and more often than not we end up waking up in darkness. Very conducive to sleep but makes dragging yourself into your day a bit trickier! With the season change comes bundling up, central heating and thoughts of Christmas. Ack! I've said the "C"-word. Curses! Well, to take our mind off the chilly weather and strain to our budgets that holiday shopping brings, I thought we'd have a look at a rather stunning blogger who has caught our eye at BritMums HQ this week.

Another week comes to a close and as British Parent Bloggers prepare to attend the MAD Blog Awards tonight in London (best of luck to all of the finalists, many of whom are BritMums members), we would like to showcase one of our own for this week's BritMums Blogger of the Week. Can you feel the love? Group hug everyone!

According to this blogger's site, these are some of the vital items or "Cold Hard Facts" that you need to know about her:

• I am married
• I have a baby girl
• I live in Bristol
• I am in my early 30s
• I don’t work
• I am ever so slightly mentally wayward

So simple and so effective! We love a succinct "About Me" page, we do! We're also quite fond of this blogger's strap line: "Taking all the fluffy aspects of parenting and totally shitting all over them!" Parent blogging has changed just a little bit hasn't it? Just in case you don't know this blogger yet, we give you...Motherventing!

Having only been blogging for about 6 months now, Motherventing is making herself known in the blogosphere with her refreshingly honest writing about everything from How to Be a Wife and Marital Strife to Guilty Pleasures (which made us drool on our laptop) and A Soft Play Drama. But one of our favourite posts from Motherventing was one written this week which was inspired by the BritMums Blogging Prompt. "If I wouldn't be judged harshly I would say________ out loud" was the PERFECT admission of parental imperfection which we highly admire.

So do add Motherventing to your reading rota and race on over to her delightfully amusing venting platform. We are envious of her ability to share the good, the bad and the ugly with such wit, lovely writing and honesty.

BritMums Blogger of the Week

Another week brings us that much closer to darker nights, colder temperatures and half-term (What? I can dream, can't I?). We're seeing some brilliant things happening on the BritMums network these days which makes us very happy indeed. Newbies are coming out of the woodwork, bloggers are joining groups, starting discussions and finding new blogs to read and become involved with. Everything we've hoped for really...sigh!

One of the best parts of delving into the BritMums network is the wealth of talented writers who are joining our fair community. Many of them are new to blogging but are such lovely writers that we're a bit taken aback. And it's not all about nappies and the school run, you know. Our BritMums are blogging about EVERYTHING! Genius!

BritMums Blogger of the Week

BritMums is made up of an amazing group (3000+ and still growing) parent bloggers who are filled with talent, energy and determination. We love the diverse gathering of individuals in BritMums and each week enjoy highlighting one blogger who embodies that spirit.

This week's Blogger of the Week has been blogging for a long time indeed. She's a unique blogger who fills her blog with outstanding content, doesn't worry about rankings and statistics and celebrates the brilliance of others around her. Recently she's experienced a great deal of stress with her blog and subsequently is stepping back a bit to re-focus. We'd like to honour her this week and show her just how much she means to the BritMums blogging community.

This week's BritMums Blogger of the Week is Crystal Jigsaw, Kathryn Brown. CJ (as we all refer to her) is more than JUST a parent blogger. She's an outstanding mother who battles for her daughter Amy, she's a hard-working farmer's wife and a published author who is currently working on her second manuscript. We gained a bit of insight into CJ's motivation for blogging with a post this week, inspired by our Blogging Prompt of the Week- I Wouldn't Change My Blog. We love CJ's standards!

In I've Made a Difficult Decision, CJ explains her reasons for taking a step back in blogging and we totally respect her for this decision. We also support her and will eagerly await her return to the blogosphere because CJ has always been an admired and strong voice in the BritMums blogging community. We need more CJ's!

Have a read of CJ's post about a day in the school life of daughter Amy, Girls, Hormones and Growing Up and you'll see why CJ (and Amy) are so very special. We'll miss you in your sabbatical Kathryn. BritMums Blogger of the Week

Well, that went fast, didn’t it? As the four-day week crashes to a halt and we prepare to once again mount the bucking bronco of school runs and juggling, it’s time to honour a blogger whose unflinching humour while spinning a million plates is an inspiration to us all.

This particular blogger has a full-time job, toddler and husband. Not only that, but she also – whisper it – attempts to have a social life. All hail this week’s BritMums Blogger of the Week...

The end of another week is here. The pleasure of a 3-day weekend (albeit the LAST Bank Holiday for SOME TIME) should have us all smiling into our tea cups despite the rain which is pitter-pattering down on our roofs.

When I peruse the blogosphere each week, I tend to seek out bloggers who make me smile, in particular. I love thought provoking posts and posts that make you go "Hmmmm" as well but I do enjoy visiting the blogs of bloggers who really love writing and don't get stuck in the muck that sometimes goes along with the parent blogging world.

This week's BritMums Blogger of the Week is one of those such bloggers. She is an exceptionally positive person who obviously loves being a Mum, writes with wit and creativity and takes some rather lovely photos as well. She's an avid participant in The Gallery and Silent Sunday and can often be found on Twitter brightening people's days.

Can you believe that we only have about 2-3 weeks left of our summer holidays? School is just around the corner, uniforms are being purchased, schedules are being planned, after-school activities are being signed up for! Before the summer's out, put down the laptop, turn off Twitter and spend some quality time with your kids before it's time to join the rat-race again!

What a week we've been through! Riots, civil unrest, 11 year olds looting, businesses being destroyed in a matter of minutes by careless individuals hell-bent on creating chaos. Not our best moment here in England! So let's retreat to the comfort of blogging!

The BritMums blogosphere is full of wonderful writers who share their knowledge and delightful prose every week. They provide us with inspiration and are a welcome respite from the struggles and stresses of everyday life. This week I'd like to re-introduce you to a blogger who will inspire you to get in the kitchen, who will amuse you with tales of her teenage boys and will delight you with her lovely photos of the most ordinary things. Another week down, another week closer to the start of school. What? You're not counting DOWN yet? Well, we all survived the heat and torrential rain of this week to find ourselves that little bit closer to September which has to be a good thing, right?

In between the sun and the rain there was another BritMums blogger who caught our attention this week and we'd like to share her with you. She's a blogger who has a rather "haunting" name, she has a second blog which is making a massive difference in all matters maternity AND she's just managed to get a special new gig due to her new state of play. That's right...this week's BritMums Blogger of the Week is...

I have to say, this feature on the BritMums blog is just the most fun! Keeping my eyes peeled for outstanding posts and bloggers each week makes the blogosphere a very fun place indeed. Isn't it great to showcase a wonderful blogger and celebrate his or her talent? I think so! (Group hug??)

In my travels this week I have stumbled upon a blog which is just downright hilarious. This blogger writes about what a lot of us are feeling...always a good sign in a parent blogger! Her tagline is "All Children are messy hell-raisers!" which might give you an indication of the tone of her blog.

This week's BritMums Blogger of the Week is a blogger who is known for making a difference. She has also been around the blogosphere for quite a while now and is loved and respected by bloggers far and near. She's a shining example of what bloggers can achieve when they use their voice.

So who might this blogger be? Well, she has a rather appropriate surname, is just about the kindest blogger around, has a precious daughter who amuses us all with her quick wit and thoughts and who blogs with integrity at every step.

It's that time of the week again! That time where we honour a BritMums Blogger who has done something amazingly outstanding in the week. Something to make us all sit up and take notice. Now who might it be this week?

Well, this particular blogger has been around since October of 2010. She is rather fond of motherhood, as is evident by the name of her blog. She has impressed and amazed us with her 2nd pregnancy Bump Watch progress and stunned us all with her presence at this year's CyberMummy when she was 38 weeks pregnant. She also managed to deliver a brand new baby yesterday evening after just 5 hours and with only gas & air. Who might this be?

Blogger of the week...we just love this opportunity to showcase the talents of a blogger who has lit up the blogosphere with his or her glow. And boy do we have a cracker this week!

This particular Blogger of the Week has created a video documentary of CyberMummy11 which has even gotten a certain former Prime Minister's wife online and commenting. We've all gotten a kick out of the characters used to represent various bloggers, in particular, the figurine that was portraying Jay (@cosmicgirlie) had all of us doing a double take!

It's time to shake off the "Cyberlag" that many of us are feeling and get back to reality! Right? Right! What better way than to get back to our weekly routine of highlighting bloggers who are shaking up the Blogosphere? We love highlighting bloggers who are making us sit up and take notice.

The BritMums Blogger of the Week has been making us sit up and take notice for some time now, actually. She's a prolific blogger who is beloved by all as she's a truly genuine and lovely person both in the flesh and on the internet. Her positive attitude, smiling disposition and generosity are second to none. She was a live-blogger extraordinaire this past weekend at CyberMummy and can always be counted on to support events going on in the blogging community. Who is she? None other than...

This week there's something special going on. What is it? Hmmmm...I don't know...I just haven't heard much about it I don't think!

Yes, that's right, on Saturday there will be approximately 400 attendees gathering together to celebrate blogging at CyberMummy11.

Blogger of the Week + 10 must-reads

This week we're celebrating all things CyberMummy so it really seems only fitting to throw the spotlight on the individuals behind it's creation. They've been blogging for years, changing the blogosphere in the process and have managed to orchestrate not one but soon-to-be two blogging conferences that have celebrated brilliance in blogging.

Back in 2009, following a Live Chat post-BlogHer '09 on the then, British Mummy Bloggers network, the idea of having a conference of "our" own was put forth, seconded and thirded. A seed was planted and Jennifer Howze, Sian To and Susanna Scott decided to make that seed grow into something amazing; the first blogging conference of it's kind in the UK. Through hours of hard work, meetings upon meetings, train journeys, coffees and probably a few grey hairs, CyberMummy 2010 was born.

Blogger of the Week + #passiton

This week's Blogger of the Week is a bit of an extension from last week's glorious Christine Mosler of Thinly Spread. As we all know, Christine is, as I type, in Mozambique doing very important work for Save the Children and the #passiton campaign. We've also had some very important bloggers on the ground here in the UK who are so admirably working for and supporting the #passiton campaign.

One such blogger is this week's BritMums Blogger of the Week: Maggy Woodley of Red Ted Art! Over the last year or so, Maggy's brilliantly crafty and creative blog has grown by leaps and bounds. Inspiring all of us to get "down and dirty" with our children is but one of her accomplishments. Maggy is a wonderful voice in the BritMums blogging community and has leant her support to the #passiton campaign as well.

At BritMums we love to recognise brilliance in blogging. We try to, every week, highlight a blogger who is lighting the blogosphere up with their writing. We want to share the love as much as possible to build a strong community. This week we need to galvanise the blogging community behind one very special blogger and the amazing campaign that she is promoting.

Choosing the Blogger of the Week is never an easy task. The parent blogosphere is chock-a-block with talented writers, photographers, videographers and stories about poo (well, we are parents). Each week I look for someone who stands out a bit from the crowd; maybe someone who has written a post that has rippled around the blogosphere; maybe someone who's picture is so gorgeous, everyone is talking about it; maybe someone who has just knocked our socks off with an amazing new video.

This week I was reminded about a blogger who has been around for a little while but who you all should be watching and listening to. This week's Blogger of the Week is...Peggy Poyser of Perfectly Happy Mum.
