Another week down, another week closer to the start of school. What? You're not counting DOWN yet? Well, we all survived the heat and torrential rain of this week to find ourselves that little bit closer to September which has to be a good thing, right?
In between the sun and the rain there was another BritMums blogger who caught our attention this week and we'd like to share her with you. She's a blogger who has a rather "haunting" name, she has a second blog which is making a massive difference in all matters maternity AND she's just managed to get a special new gig due to her new state of play. That's right...this week's BritMums Blogger of the Week is...
Susanne of Ghostwritermummy!
Earlier this week, Susanne made a big announcement on Ghostwritermummy...she's EXPECTING! This is a very exciting announcement in and of itself but it's also led to another development for Susanne. That's right...Ghostwritermummy will be sharing her third pregnancy journey with the world at iVillage in Ghostwritermummy and Bump! Massive congratulations Susanne. We love seeing BritMums conquering the big wide blogosphere!
In addition to being a very busy mum, freelancer and blogger, Susanne and Jayne have led the charge for better Maternity Care with their site, Maternity Matters. It's wonderful to see bloggers using their voices and energy to make a difference. And it's clear, from the bloggers featured, that Maternity Matters is filling a much needed void for women who have struggled with negative birth experiences.Well done to everyone involved!
Show Ghostwritermummy (@Ghostwritermumm) a bit of support and love this week as she's embarking on her pregnancy journey and sharing it with the blogosphere. Congratulations Susanne, from all of us at BritMums!
BritMums would also like to give a special "shout out" to one of our loveliest bloggers, English Mum. This week, English Mum was invited to share her expertise on the topic of travelling with children...ON THE RADIO!!! Twitter shared loads of advice with English Mum and I'm sure she's appreciative of all of the words of wisdom. You can listen to English Mum on Surrey Breakfast with Nick Wallace and judge for yourself (fast forward to 1hr 26min). We think she did a blog-a-riffic job!
What amazing BritMums bloggers there are! Well done to both Ghostwritermummy and English Mum...we're so proud of your efforts!
Have a wonderful weekend. Just keep...blogging!
