Ever feel like you have something you want to post about ... but would rather be anonymous? Nickie, Paula, Sandy, Jay, Emily and Bumbling feel your pain! The group run BLOGNONYMOUS. Read their story below...
We all blog for different reasons but mainly because we have something to say. We don’t necessarily assume that people will read but if they do we are delighted and we are bolstered with the confidence that comes from having a supportive audience.
There are so many stories out there to be told and whilst many of us use a blog as an outlet, sometimes those stories are best told elsewhere, where we can’t be recognised, and where we can speak freely without worrying what people will think of us. You may not have your own blog, or any form of regular outlet and just need somewhere to let it all out.
Last July a group of like-minded bloggers created a support network for people who wanted advice, support or even just to vent in an anonymous fashion. We learned that there are occasions where people wanted to talk in confidence but felt unable to do so, convinced that others would somehow recognise them. We decided to open our blogs to you, if you need them.
We can guarantee confidentiality, a sounding board, a blank page for your words and, if necessary, an introduction and conclusion with links or signposts to places where others can find further information or support. You can have comments on or off, seek assistance or just vent. We have six blogs available, with a range of readership and atmospheres. If you’ve got a story to tell and nowhere that you feel able to tell it, pick one of our blogs and contact us.
There are a number of ways to find out about new Blognonymous posts. You can follow the blogs mentioned aboveand look out for the posts marked "Blognonymous", you can follow the @Blognonymous Twitter account for regular updates or you can become a member of the appropriately named Blognonymous Facebook page to have the posts appear directly on your Facebook wall.
Since Blognonymous was launched we have published over 40 posts across all six blogs. All we ask our readers to do is offer the fantastic support and advice that you always have – it is your involvement that has made this venture a success and that will help it continue to be a success.
