Got that wineoclock feeling but not sure what to have? Fed up with drinking the same old thing? We’re here to help! We are really excited to announce our first ever BMB wine twitter tasting, taking place on the 31st March from 8 - 9 pm.
The format is simple. Starting at 8pm, we will taste through a selection of three wines including a sparkling, a white and a red wine. All of the wines have been selected by fellow BMB member and wine expert Helen McGinn (@knackeredmutha). She’ll guide us through the wines answering any questions you might have as we go whilst we swirl, sip, slurp and swap notes.
What do I have to do to take part?
- Be on Twitter at 8pm on the 31st March
- Buy one, two or all three wines to be tasted before the tasting starts
- Find us using the twitter hashtag #bmbwinetasting
- During the tasting please add #bmbwinetasting to any tweets so we can track the conversation
- Direct any questions any time during the tasting to Helen using @knackeredmutha
- We’ll taste the first wine at 8pm, spending about 10 minutes on each wine (+ time to tweet afterwards)! Join in at any time if you don’t want to try all three wines.

Sparkling: Maschio Prosecco Brut Doc

White: Casillero Casablanca Sauvignon Blanc

Red: Tesco Finest Vin De Pays D'oc Malbec

Helen was a wine buyer for a leading supermarket for nine years, charged with sourcing wines from most major wine producing countries including France, South America, New Zealand, Eastern Europe and Portugal. She holds a WSET Diploma and is a leading judge for the International Wine Challenge.
